Here is a fun and easy recipe that you can make with your kids! This Mexican style dip is SUPER easy to make and SUPER yummy. There is absolutely no cooking involved! The key to this dip is the layering and buying the right ingredients.
- Refried Beans (1 Can)
- Salsa (3/4ths of the jar)
- Ripe Avocados (2 to 3) (smashed)
- Green Onions (1 Bunch) (chopped)
- Sour Cream (1 container)
- Cheddar Cheese (grated)
- Tomatoes (for garnish)
- Olives (optional)
- Red Chili Powder (optional)
Note: The ingredients you use will depend on if you are making this for the adults or children. Definitely go “Spicy” for adults and “Mild/Medium” for children.
Mix the green onions with the refried beans. You can also try adding red chili powder, Mexican style hot sauce and/or chopped olives to the refried beans for a bit more zing.
Spread the refried beans in the dish
Spread the salsa
Spread the sour cream
Spread the smashed avocados
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese
Garnish with green onions, tomatoes and olives
Serve with Corn Tortilla chips and ENJOY!
