With Halloween just around the corner it is time to start thinking about what treats you need to make for the school party, party bags or even just for the trick-or-treaters. Each year we get bags full of candy – which of course my kids are not allowed to eat.  Most of us moms shy away from handy out healthy treats because we don’t want to be that house or that mom that gives the “yucky” candy.

Although raisins are just about as boring as you can get for Halloween, using some easy arts & crafts you are able to make this a really sought after “fun” treat for your kids party.  This is especially good for the younger kids, who do actually love raisins.

I put these on the treat table last year at my then 2 year old son’s Halloween party and I took them to my then 4 year olds pre-school class and all the kids and parents really loved them.

Best of all these are super simple to make, don’t take much time and look awesome when they are finished.

Step 1: Trace the raisin box on the orange paper and cut out small orange rectangles.

Step 2: Draw on the jack-o-lantern face. You can get creative – they don’t all have to look the same.

Step 3: Glue on the googly eyes.

Step 5: Glue or use double sided tape to attach the orange jack-o-lantern to the raisin box.
