My Life As A Super Mommy
All Moms are super in their own way. Raising a child is no easy task. Sometimes we feel so alone. I created this website so that moms like me would be able to realize that no matter what challenges we face, somewhere inside there is a super mom ready to solve any problem and tackle any challenge.
A little bit about myself…
My friends seem to think I have an answer to all their questions, probably because I like to Google and research just about everything!
I am a native Californian, but have permanently made my home in Singapore for the last 17 years. I have two teen boys who are the center of my universe – Zayden is 15 and Xavion is 13, and let’s not forget about my super adorable furbaby Snow.
Some fun facts that you might not know about me are that I am on a constant health kick, but love dark chocolate peanut butter cups and flaming hot Cheetos! I’m always organizing my home – yes, everything is color-coordinated, symmetrical, super clean, and in a basket. I am also a bit of a beauty (aesthetics) junkie, and although my kids might not agree, I am actually a lot of fun when I want to be.
I love to travel to exotic places, cook all types of food, plan awesome parties and experience life to its fullest! In my past life, I used to be a corporate lawyer. I burned the candle at both ends trying to give 100% to everyone, and was somewhat succeeding, but failing myself.
Finally, I decided that my family needed me way more than my job did, so I am now a full-time Entrepreneur / Super Mommy and LOVIN’ IT!! Basically, my training as a lawyer and my Type “A”, super organized, hardworking, perfectionist persona has trickled down into my everyday life as a woman, mother, wife, and in my home.
Now as my boys are getting older (two teenagers – omg), you would think they need mommy less, but sometimes I think it is more. Before it was all about LEGO, superheroes and playing outside. Now my boys need to focus a lot more on academics, enrichment, and staying on the right track in life. As a mom, I try to be a role model and act as a mentor, coordinator, tutor, and most importantly someone they can count on.
Does it get tiring (yes)? Do I sometimes want to pull my hair out (yes)? But at the end of the day I love my little monkeys and like most moms, would do anything for them. If being a mommy is my new job, then being the best mommy or in other words a “Super Mommy” is what I strive to be.
I would love to hear any ideas you may have or any topics you want me to discuss, just send me a message. Hope you enjoy all of my many adventures – happy reading!
