Looking for a yummy and fun treat for your kids party? Still haven’t mastered the art of making a “cake pop”? Try making these easy, no-bake “Rice Krispies Treat Pops”! These treats are super-simple to make, but look very impressive when done! Your kids can even help you make them.
Check out the easy step-by-step instructions below and try making these yourself at home!
Things you need:
- Rice Krispies Treats (homemade or store bought)
- Candy Melts (any color)
- Colored sprinkles
- Fancy Straws
- Shortening (optional)
- Treat Bags & Ribbon (optional)
Easy Step-by-Step:
Step 1: Cut the Rice Krispies Treats into your desired size. If you are using the store bought treats, just cut the treat it in half.
Super Tip for Singapore: You can buy pre-packaged Rice Krispies Treats from the Warehouse Club.
Step 2: Carefully insert the straw into the treat.
Step 3: Heat up the candy melts using the recipe on the bag.
Super Candy Melt Tips: Only heat up small portions of candy melts at a time. Then add approx 1/2 tsp of shortening to the candy melt after it is heated to give it a smoother consistency.
Step 4: Spread the candy melt on the Rice Krispie treat.
Step 5: Add colored sprinkles or topping of choice.
Step 6: Stand the decorated treat upright or lay flat to dry on baking paper (approx 30 mins).
Step 7 (optional): Place the treat into a clear bag & tie with a ribbon.
Step 8: Enjoy!! Now wasn’t that super easy!
