Let’s save a few “pumpkins” this year! Why not try making your Jack-O-Lantern from a “ROCK” instead. Here is a super easy Halloween activity to get you in the holiday spirit. Rock Jack-O-Lanterns are very quick, cheap and simple to make – perfect as a “kid’s craft” or quick “DIY”. These Rocks make great party and lawn decorations, not to mention they work as a festive Halloween office paper-weight. Best of all there is no carving or pumpkin required!

Things You Need:

• Rocks (round)
• Orange Paint
• Paint Brush
• Eyes, Nose & Mouth Cutouts (black paper)
• Orange Glitter (optional)

Step – By-Step

Step 1: Wash and dry the rocks.

Step 2: Paint the rocks orange.

Step 3: Attach the Jack-O-Lantern’s eyes, nose and mouth. Note: You can paint the eyes, nose and mouth with “glow-in-the-dark” paint for a more spooky effect.

Step 4:  Sprinkle the orange glitter (optional).

Step 5: Set your Jack-O-Lantern aside for a few hours to let it dry. Now you are finished! Wasn’t that super easy?

Unlike your normal “pumpkin” Jack-O-Lantern, you can save these “Rock” Jack-O-Lanterns and use them every Halloween to bring out the holiday spirit!!
