Making these “Frankenstein” monsters is an easy Halloween kids craft that is great for toddlers and pre-schoolers to get into the holiday spirit. This monster makes a great window decoration or can even act as a spooky mask. This Frankenstein craft was my 4-year old son’s idea. We were actually using paper plates to make Halloween “pumpkins”, once he was done he decided he wanted to make a monster as well. Thus, we improvised and came up with this!
Things You Need:
- Paper Plate
- Green Paint
- Black construction paper cutouts for eyes, nose, mouth, hair & bolts
- Googlie Eyes
- Paint Brush
- Green Glitter
- Glue
- Popsicle sticks or chopsticks (optional)
- Masking tape (optional)
Step -by-Step:
Step 1: Paint the back of a paper plate green.
Step 2: Sprinkle the green glitter over the painted paper plate.
Step 3: Attach the paper cut-out hair, eyes and mouth.
Step 4: Glue on the googlie eyes.
Step 5: Attach the mouth and lighten bolt ears.
Step 6: (Optional) Attach popsicle sticks, chopsticks, or any other long stick to the opposite side of the plate.
Step 7: Get ready to spook the family with your Frankenstein mask.
Hope you have a Spooky, Safe & Fun Halloween.
